Question 1

How much does Sim Time cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard rates are $35–$45 per hour depending on the time and day. That rate reserves the entire private venue for your group — it is not a per-person price. Your exact price, discounts, and total are shown during booking before payment.

Question 2

Is pricing per person or for the whole room?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is for the entire Sim Time venue, not per person. Only one group is booked at a time, so your reservation gives your group private use of the venue for the session.

Question 3

Do you require a damage deposit?

Accepted Answer

No damage deposit is collected when you make a standard Sim Time reservation. Your payment method may be kept on file under the booking terms in case damage or excessive cleanup caused during the reservation needs to be charged.

Question 4

Are there discounts for longer bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Standard multi-hour discounts are 5% off 2 hours, 10% off 3 hours, 15% off 4 hours, and 20% off 5 or more hours. Any applicable discount is calculated automatically during booking.

Question 5

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Question 6

Can I extend my session if nobody is booked afterward?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the next time slot is still available, you can extend your session online using the booking link in your reservation confirmation email.

Question 7

How do we get inside?

Accepted Answer

After booking, you receive a unique door access code by email and text. Use that code at the door during your reservation window — there is no front-desk check-in.

Question 8

What hours can we book?

Accepted Answer

Sim Time is available daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The minimum reservation is 1 hour, and longer sessions can be booked in 30-minute increments after that.

Question 9

Do I need to sign the waiver while booking?

Accepted Answer

No. You can complete your reservation first. Required guest waivers are completed separately before the visit using the waiver link provided with the booking. All guests must have the required waiver completed before entering.

Question 10

Is the entire venue private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sim Time books only one group at a time. Your reservation gives your group the entire Sim Time venue — not just a simulator bay — for the length of your session.

Question 11

How many people can come?

Accepted Answer

The venue has seating for 18 plus additional standing room for larger groups. If you are planning a particularly large event, consider how much open space your group will want for moving around, eating, and rotating through activities.

Question 12

How many people can play the simulator at once?

Accepted Answer

Up to about 8 people can actively use the simulator at one time, depending on the activity. Larger groups can rotate players while others watch, eat, socialize, or use the other activities in the room.

Question 13

What ages is Sim Time best for?

Accepted Answer

Ages 6+ can typically play independently. Younger children can participate with help from an adult, and toddlers are welcome to attend. Adults enjoy the games too, so Sim Time works well for mixed-age groups.

Question 14

What else is available besides the simulator?

Accepted Answer

Your group also has the big-screen Bring Your Own Device setup, comfortable seating, tables for food or activities, vending, and additional tabletop and building activities for guests between simulator turns. You can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Question 15

Can we bring food?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bring meals, takeout, snacks, birthday cake, and non-alcoholic drinks. Tables are available for setting out food and party items. Please keep food and drinks away from the simulator equipment and clean up before leaving.

Question 16

Can we bring decorations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Simple decorations such as balloons, banners, tablecloths, and table decorations are welcome. Please avoid anything that damages the walls or leaves adhesive residue, and remove your decorations before the session ends.

Question 17

Is alcohol allowed?

Accepted Answer

No. Alcohol is not permitted at Sim Time. The venue is designed to remain a wholesome, family-friendly space, and equipment may not be used while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Question 18

Is staff on site?

Accepted Answer

Sim Time is a self-service venue with automated access rather than a staffed front desk. The facility is monitored by security cameras, and support is available if you need help during your visit.

Question 19

Is parking free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free parking is available in the lot directly in front of Sim Time at 118 S Main St, Suite 1, Dry Ridge, Kentucky.

Question 20

Can we bring animals?

Accepted Answer

Animals are not permitted inside the facility. Please plan to leave pets at home for your session.

Question 21

What sports and games are available?

The simulator includes 14 sports and games with multiple modes and difficulty levels, including baseball, football, soccer, hockey, basketball, bowling, cornhole, zombie dodgeball, Disc-Go-Golf, Foot Golf, and other arcade-style challenges.

Question 22

Accepted Answer

Question 24

Can I connect a laptop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Laptops and other compatible devices can use the provided HDMI, Guest A/V, or supported wireless display options. Bring any device-specific adapter your equipment requires.

Question 25

Can we stream a movie or sporting event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with your own compatible device, account, and content access. Playback can depend on your device, app, provider, and connection method, and guests are responsible for their own subscriptions and any applicable content or broadcast restrictions.

Question 26

What connection options are available for our own device?

Accepted Answer

Sim Time provides a clearly labeled Guest HDMI connection, Guest A/V cables for compatible equipment, and a j5create ScreenCast wireless display system. Compatible devices may also support AirPlay, Miracast, or Google Cast. Wired HDMI is the best choice when latency matters.

Question 27

Can we play our own music?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bluetooth audio is available so your group can play music from a compatible phone or device during the session.

Question 28

Is Sim Time good for birthday parties?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Birthday groups get the entire private venue and can bring food, cake, non-alcoholic drinks, and simple decorations. The simulator and other room activities make it easy for guests to rotate rather than having everyone wait on one activity.

Question 29

Can businesses book team outings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sim Time works for team building, employee appreciation, company celebrations, social off-sites, and other private business outings. The flat room rate means you are not paying an admission price for every attendee.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bring a compatible laptop or other source and use the large projected screen for slides, training videos, awards, team updates, or other group content before or during your outing.

Question 31

How long should we reserve for a birthday or group outing?

Accepted Answer

For general group outings, 2–3 hours works well for many groups. For birthday parties, we recommend about 3 hours for most groups and 4–5 hours for larger parties or groups that want plenty of time for food, cake, gifts, and rotating through activities.

Question 32

Can church groups, homeschool groups, or sports teams book the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sim Time is available for private church groups, homeschool groups, sports teams, youth groups, family gatherings, and similar events. Your group gets the venue to itself for the reserved time.
